Terms of Use

Effective date  01 April 2025

Last Updated  15 September 2026

1. Website operator - These terms govern eqscglobal.com and its public pages, directories, register and authorised resource areas. EQSC means Education Quality Standards Consortium. The legal operator is eqscglobal.com by HERA LLC, Miami, Florida, US.

Legal contact: legal@eqscglobal.com.

The complete statutory information for the operating entities appears in the Legal Terms and Conditions. The website must make those disclosures readily accessible; business letters, order forms and other documents carry any disclosures required for the issuing entity.

2. Using the website - Use the website lawfully and respect these terms. An account or paid service requires the separate accepted agreement. Browsing does not authorise recurring payments or create an institutional membership. Where a term requires affirmative agreement, it is presented for acceptance rather than assumed from mere website use.  We may update the site and these terms with a visible version and date. Material account related changes are notified where required. Paid contractual rights are governed by the accepted agreement, not removed through an unannounced webpage change.

3. Accounts and access - Authorised users protect their credentials and do not share access beyond the licence or subscription. They report suspected unauthorised access promptly. We may restrict access for a reasonably evidenced security risk or material breach, with an explanation where lawful and practicable. A restriction does not cancel a statutory remedy or erase a payment dispute.

4. Permitted use of content - You may view public pages, download materials offered for download and use them for personal reference or your institution's internal quality work, subject to the stated licence. Short quotations should identify EQSC, the title, year and version. Copyright exceptions under applicable law remain available. Member only resources, licensed reports and datasets are restricted to the authorised users and uses. You may not remove notices, resell material, distribute full publications publicly or use protected brand artwork without permission. Public access to a framework does not grant unrestricted commercial republication rights.

5. Acceptable conduct - Do not introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the website, impersonate another person, submit knowingly false material or use the service to harass people. Do not harvest personal information, bypass access controls or use automated extraction in breach of an applicable licence or law. Ordinary search engine indexing of public pages is subject to the site's technical permissions. Bulk reuse or use of protected materials for AI or machine learning development requires the permissions required by law and any applicable contract. We do not claim exclusive ownership of unprotected ideas or public facts.

6. Submissions - You retain your rights in information you submit. You grant the operator the limited authority needed to process the request or perform the agreed service. Submission does not authorise public publication of confidential evidence. Personal data use follows the Privacy Policy and relevant collection notice. You confirm that you are entitled to submit the material and identify any necessary restrictions. Research responses are used within the purpose and publication arrangements explained to participants. A testimonial, attributed quotation or logo is not published merely because it was included in an enquiry.

7. Status information - The Member Directory records subscriptions. The Recognition Register records the current published recognition status and scope. A downloaded certificate or promotional logo may be out of date; verify the entry and its expiry date. EQSC recognition is private and voluntary. It is not statutory approval, recognition by a government or an assurance that a student will obtain a particular qualification, job, salary or professional licence.

8.  Links and third party services - You may link to a public page or status entry fairly, without implying a relationship or endorsement that does not exist. Framing or presenting EQSC content as your own requires permission where protected rights are involved. External links are supplied for relevant information. The external site has its own content, terms and privacy arrangements. We remain responsible for our own contracted service and for any legal obligations concerning providers acting for us; an external link disclaimer does not remove those duties.

9.  Availability and security - We seek to maintain a usable website but do not guarantee continuous availability or absence of every technical fault. We may suspend a feature for maintenance, security or a legal requirement. Use appropriate device security and keep credentials safe. Report technical problems through enquiries@eqscglobal.com.

10.  Liability and rights - Nothing in these terms excludes fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, a non excludable legal liability or statutory consumer rights. Website information is general and subject to the context, methods and publication date stated in it. We take reasonable care in publication but do not replace a reader's independent regulatory or professional checks. For business users, exclusions of indirect or consequential loss apply only where lawful and reasonable. Paid service liability is governed by the relevant agreement. Consumers retain remedies for foreseeable loss caused by a breach of an applicable duty; a website disclaimer is not a blanket waiver.

11. Governing law and enquiries - These website terms are governed by the law of Florida, United States, subject to mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights that apply to a user elsewhere. Business disputes use its courts unless a legally valid agreement states otherwise. Contact legal@eqscglobal.com
