Commissioned Report & Advisory
EQSC Commissioned Consultancy provides research and practical advice under a written scope of work. Institutions, employers, sector organisations and sponsors may commission a project whether or not they are members. The engagement produces agreed evidence and recommendations; it does not confer membership, accreditation or certification.

Areas of work
We agree the problem to be examined, the information required, the deliverables and the intended users before work begins. The resulting report should make it clear what the evidence establishes, what remains uncertain and which actions are within the client's control.
Benchmarking & Institutional Planning
We compare institutional performance against a defined framework or peer group, identify gaps, and develop feasibility studies, sector reports and practical decision tools.
Curriculum & Graduate Outcomes
We review curricula, learning outcomes, case-based and experiential education. We verify graduate outcomes and help institutions strengthen the accuracy of their reporting.
Surveys & Student Experience
We conduct original student, alumni and employer surveys and interpret their findings. We assess student services and learning environments to identify priorities for improvement.
Governance & Institutional Readiness
We review governance, internal quality systems and evidence management, alongside digital readiness and facilities, to help institutions understand their capacity and plan improvements.
How an engagement works
We first agree the decision to be supported, the scope, required information, outputs and intended users. The proposal identifies the contracting legal entity, team, fees, milestones, confidentiality and information rights.
We collect and test the evidence, analyse the findings and share a factual draft where agreed. The final deliverable explains the findings, practical priorities and limitations. Further implementation support is agreed separately.
Confidentiality and ownership
Your agreement states who may access the work, whether it will be published and how outputs may be used. Confidential commissioned studies are not published without the agreed authority or a legal requirement.
Confidential projects are not made public without the agreed authority or a legal requirement. The contract allocates ownership of commissioned outputs, distinguishes EQSC background methods from client data, and specifies any internal use, publication or dataset licence.
Joint branding or Project Partner credit is limited to the named project and is not a quality endorsement. The client may correct factual errors but may not require a misleading conclusion or selectively publish results in a way that distorts the report.
